Flashback...


Here is a Boeing Stearman at Aiken, South Carolina. Apparently the owner of a local company owns this aircraft and is taking up staff during appreciation day. I was gonna go over and apply if they do this regularly :)


The nostalgia of being close to such an old bird and its in such great shape. I would have loved the opportunity to fly one of these airplanes back in the day or even now for that matter. The sound a radial engine makes almost seems to coincide with the beating of your own heart and stirs up excitement.

Just taxiing for departure, a perfectly clear day a little cool maybe but it doesn't get any better then this.


This guy was kinda having some fun and turned to overfly the terminal building at about 200 feet or so. Good for the old camera though.
