BCtopia


One of the first ranges in the Rockies. Not much to say but man does it look good.


Here is a Cirque (used to be glacier). Its an "amphitheatre type landform formed by glaciers" as per Wikipedia

I believe this is Invermere or somewhere around that area. The Hoodos are visible just barely to the NW side of the lake.


This is what a contrail looks like from an airplane at 36,000 feet. You usually just see them on the ground when you see a jet flying overhead but it was neat to actually get a shot of it from inside the plane. Its kinda like when you were a kid and drove your bike on gravel and spin the tires and look back at how much of a mark you made. Maybe that was just me :)
