"The Big Apple"

Times Square New York City. This is my first visit to Manhattan and it is the most energized place packed with a crazy amount of people. It was raining pretty hard and dodging peoples umbrellas all day became a pain. Apparently in this district it is mandatory to have flashy signs for your company. As you can see they all seem to be doing just that.

Looking south from previous picture....same thing lots of people and lights.

Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center. Day-time Emmy awards and MTV music awards are usually hosted here amongst other things.

The Chrysler Building, the first structure in the world to exceed 1'000 feet. Just in the bottom of the frame is Grand Central Station. At this point the rain was getting a bit out of hand so there was no more photo ops without risking my camera getting soaked. I am sure I will be back but next time I hope the weather is better. NYC is an amazing place with tons to do and see I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot (not seeking peace and tranquility of course :)

I was visiting New York city on the weekend of Sept 13-16 and visited the same sites. The rain when I was there came down in buckets but I continued the tourist thing anyways. Love the photos! and the reads
