Canada

Canadian Parliament Buildings

First of all I want to start off saying that no matter where you are from, you are always proud of your birth country (as if we have a choice and from here on in this is a non neutral point of view :). I haven't been all around the world yet to every country nor will I ever be able to, but from my fortunate experiences flying around most of North America I truly am blessed to call Canada home.

I was going to put "proud" instead of blessed, but to me "proud" conjures up a sort of ignorance or describes being a Canadian as an accomplishment. By calling it a blessing I am describing that I had no choice deciding the outcome of being a Canadian, but considering all the other options to which I am currently aware then I am very happy with the way things turned out as they did !

What I am trying to say is that to me Canada Rock's and even after I have scoured the earth in search of a better place, there will always be as in the words of Dorothy.....

NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

Fly safe and keep your stick on the ice!

Have you voted on the CBC's website for what you would consider to be the Seven Wonders of Canada? There are some pretty tough choices.
