Stopped engine aerobatics

Bob Hoover narrates his Aero Commander stopped engine aerobatics. This video is simply amazing and this man has some serious skills ! He also gives the best advice in this interview. He speaks about always maintaining your margins and you will always be safe. He has lost many friends who were gifted aviators because they simply cut their margins too thin. Like they say, there are old pilots and bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots. Fly safe and enjoy the video.

This guy is pimp. He has a great philosophy which is the reason why he's alive today to tell the story.

I agree,

I never really followed Bob Hoover but I remember when the FAA pulled his medical and there was a big hoopla about it.

After seeing him speak just a few words this man deserves respect and would love to grow old as an aviator and be able to keep going well into my 70's as he has.

I worked with a man who was 69 years old in the north who had around 40,000 hours and was still at the time working in a 704 operation. He worked harder then most captains 40 + years his junior .

Compared to almost every Captain (including myself now) he knew his limitations and would never push anything and then follow up usually with a great story of a time he or someone else had done it and usually it didn't end well or made you look like an ass.

Here's to you Ed.
