On the visual for RWY 05 at CYSJ...Saint John NB.
Irving Oil refinery. Apparently according to the cab driver the 3rd largest refinery in North America. I am not into the oil business but it sure looks big.
Dowtown Saint John. According to the cab driver its called little San Francisco. Its pretty hilly and lots of old architecture. Very nice city and an FYI for anybody going to visit. We stayed at the Delta Brunswick and it was the best check-in service I have ever received. At the end of it I was left with the WOW factor because usually you end up asking 50 different questions such as high speed internet access, restaurants nearby and other stuff. Clean rooms and since we had not been there before she gave us a view of the harbour !
Descending through 12,000 feet cleared for the visual approach. Bay of Fundy is to the right. I sure do love the Maritimes.
